A Wabi-Sabi–Inspired Home in the East of Singapore
This dining space is designed encapsulated the soul of this Japanese aesthetic, mirroring the allure of impermanence and the innate everyday charm. Our client is looking to customise a travertine dining table that is statement enough to be a centerpiece, and steering away from the conventional off-the-rack wooden tables. With our client’s request on hand, we designed an oval table with a matching oval base, using white Roman travertine for visually dynamic patterns. To add contrast and visual interest, our client have also assembled upholstered armchairs with unique wooden frames to match the contours of the dining table top.
The custom designed oval table was also cut to size, and fits perfectly against the beautiful shelved backdrop our client have installed for their project. The table also serves as the perfect gathering spot for meals and conversations for at least up to 8 people.
