Returns & Exchanges
Once a product has been sold, it cannot be exchanged except for the following:
For sofas/chairs/tables: Strictly no return/refund unless the product(s) received is different from what is stated on the invoice
For travertine furniture: No exchanges are due to differences in veining patterns or color.
Our travertine-based furniture is made of 100% solid natural travertine stone except for the wood plank underneath the table placed for support and installation of the base. Our stones were limestones in nature that form around mineral spring deposits, this allows for a formation process involving the precipitation of minerals which can create unique patterns of veins and color variations. On the edges and rounding of the table tops, the holes and troughs may be exposed which have intentionally been left unfilled to celebrate the organic texture found in the stone. For the areas that we will use on the table tops, the honed surface stone has been sealed to protect the surfaces against dirt, liquids, and stains however this is not foolproof and care should still be taken.

Exchange of Product Due to Size/Color/Style:
Returns: This will be responded to on a case-by-case basis, To qualify for a return, please email us at hello@thehappyplace.sg within 7 working days from the shipped date else the exchange will be void. Kindly wait for further instructions before sending the parcel back to us.
- Returns are applicable on regular-priced and exclude sale items. Orders purchased with a return code, promo code, or discount voucher will also not be valid for returns.
- Item must be in brand new condition with its original packaging intact unused and unaltered.
- We will void returns should you purchase our merchandise from a third party, or for merchandise not in its original condition.
Take note that the below will not be considered defects and not eligible for any return:
- Dislike or change of mind after purchase
- Quality not up to expectation or customer's subjective opinions and preference
- Small Measurement Variation: Most of our travertine and solid wood furnitures are handcrafted by carpenters and woodcrafters. Our sofas are made by a team of highly dedicated upholstery craftsman that made your custom sofas from scratch. Measurements may differ slightly between 0.1-2.0cm and will not be considered as defects.
- Natural materials
- Solid travertine stone: Natural Limestone comes with its own unique variation and organic flaws. This includes colour and textural variation and should be expected. Slight imperfections are a part of the handmade process using this natural material, this is what makes each piece unique and should be expected.
- Solid wood: Natural Wood will have its own unique variation that will include knots, black lines, color difference, tiger grain, color variation or shadow. Colour and textural variation and should be expected.
- The slight color differences resulting from the difference on individual's screens
- For customised items, do allow for slight variance as every individual piece may appear differently due to product placement.
- Sale item(s)/ items bought with promo code/flash sale discounts are not eligible for returns/exchanges or issue of credit note(s).
We do make sure to do a thorough inspection of the pieces before they are sent out.
Defective Item / Wrong Item Received:
We sincerely apologize for our oversight. We placed a high priority on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. If the item is damaged or in poor condition, please email us at hello@thehappyplace.sg and we will arrange a replacement.
Kindly drop us an email at hello@thehappyplace.sg within 7 working days from the shipped date else it will be void. Do include a snapshot of the incorrect item and highlight the area of defect, along with your order number for verification purposes. Please wait for further instructions.
- Item must be in brand new condition with its original transparent The Happy Place packaging intact, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
- For most case, if the item is faulty, or defective, we will be responsible and we will arrange for a replacement.
- If the merchandise you originally purchased is sold out, a credit voucher with no expiry date will be issued.
We do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations for change of mind.
