By default, our travertine dining tables and coffee tables are finished with a honed surface. Honed travertine is polished to a smooth, flat surface with a matte or satin finish, giving it a sophisticated and understated look. The pores are sealed and coated to protect the surface from dirt and stains, making our travertine pieces ideal for everyday use.

Caring for your Travertine Pieces

Use a handy, small, dense hair brush or a feather duster to sweep dust off the smooth surface. A handheld vacuum cleaner with a brush head will be a good alternative.
To wipe off spills, use a micro fiber rug, soak with warm water, wipe off, and leave dry. For oil-based spills, you may use a gentle, high-quality neutral cleaner, preferably safe for natural stone.
