Caring for your Fireplace Mantelpiece

Dust regularly using a soft, lint-free cloth or a feather duster to remove dust from the mantelpiece regularly. This prevents buildup and keeps the wood looking clean.
Occasionally clean the mantelpiece with a mild soap and water solution. Use a soft cloth dampened with the solution to wipe down the wood. Immediately dry it with a clean, dry cloth to prevent water damage.
